Filing for office
Democrats seeking to file as candidates for the November election can do so during the following period:
Candidates for Clerk of Court, Sheriff, Coroner, Auditor, Treasurer, County Council, State House (Districts 6,7,8,9,10,11), or State Senate (Districts 3 and 4) must file at the Anderson County Democratic Party Headquarters, 115 N. Main Street.
The filing period spans from:
12 p.m. Sunday, March 16 to 12 p.m. Sunday March 30.
The ACDP's official filing hours during that period are:
12:00 - 2:00 pm, March 16th - March 21th
12:00 - 2:00 pm, March 24th - March 27th
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. March 28th - March 30th.
